WGS 84 = GDA94 service
This dataset has a spatial reference of\n[WGS 84 = GDA94] and can NOT be easily consumed into GDA2020\nenvironments. A similar service with a \u2018multiCRS\u2019 suffix is available\nwhich can support GDA2020, GDA94 and WGS84 = GDA2020 environments. In due course,\nand allowing time for user feedback and testing, it is intended that these\noriginal services will adopt the new multiCRS functionally.
Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)\nStatistical Geographical Standard Boundaries Suburb divides an area of interest\nthroughout the state of NSW on which statistics are collected for purposes\nunder the Census and Statistics Act 1905 (Cth).
The Australian Statistical Geography\nStandard (ASGS) brings together in one framework all of the regions which the\nAustralian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and many other organisations use to\ncollect, release and analyse geographically classified statistics. The ASGS\nensures that these statistics are comparable and geospatially integrated and\nprovides users with a coherent set of standard regions so that they can access,\nvisualise, analyse and understand statistics.
The 2016 ASGS will be used for the 2016\nCensus of Population and Housing and progressively introduced into other ABS\ndata collections. The ABS encourages the use of the ASGS by other organisations\nto improve the comparability and usefulness of statistics generally, and in\nanalysis and visualisation of statistical and other data.
The ABS Structures are a hierarchy of\nregions developed for the release of ABS statistical information.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics\nGeographical Standard Boundaries, Statistical Areas are used to define\ngeographical areas to support statistical and socio-economic analysis at a\nstate and regional scale. They are useful for analytical purposes within\nstatistical boundaries through the aggregation of a wide swath of data and\ninformation.
The ABS maintains the Australian\nStatistical Geography Standard (ASGS) and the Australian Standard Geographical\nClassification (ASGC) for pre-2011 census information.
In addition to the NSW Administrative\nBoundaries Theme Australian Bureau of Statistics also provides this data via a\nweb service direct from ABS.

The regions defined in the ABS\nStructures will not change until the next Census in 2021. The Non-ABS\nStructures are updated only when the ABS considers that there are major changes\nto the administrative boundaries they represent.

Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be\n within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500\n = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and\n 1:100000 = 50m. A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is\n currently underway. \n | \n
