WGS 84 service aligned to GDA94
This dataset has spatial reference [WGS 84 \u2248 GDA94] which may result in\nmisalignments when viewed in GDA2020 environments. A similar service with a\n\u2018multiCRS\u2019 suffix is available which can support GDA2020, GDA94 and WGS 84 \u2248\nGDA2020 environments.
In due course, and allowing time for user feedback and testing, it is intended\nthat the original service name will adopt the new multiCRS functionally.
Imagery is the product\ncreated from the use of airborne, space borne or terrestrial sensors. These\ntechnologies image the surface of the Earth to allow for the visualisation of\nland surface features.
Imagery provides an analytical source and\ncontextual background for decision making and supports multiple applications\nincluding:

Imagery\nincludes data sourced\nfrom satellite,\naircraft and vehicle\nmounted sensors. These technologies have a range of capabilities that\nincludes but is not limited to,\nthe ability to record multispectral and hyperspectral data\nand produce products such as\northorectified mosaics and stereo-viewable\nimagery.
Spatial\nServices current Imagery programs include:
Airborne Digital Sensor ADS Imagery (2006 to present) - Spatial\nServices has a Digital Image Acquisition System (ADS80) from which it collects\nmedium and high resolution orthorectified digital imagery across NSW.
Spatial Services Spatial Service\u2019s standard imagery\ncapture program covers the entire state of NSW. Standard coverage imagery is\ncaptured and processed at a 50cm Ground Sample Distance (GSD) and is available\nas either 5km x 5km image modules or mosaiced to the extent of a 1:100,000\nmapsheet.
Spatial Services town imagery program covers regional\ntownships across the state of New South Wales. Town imagery is captured and\nprocessed at Ground Sampling Distance (GSD) of 10cm and is available as 1.25km\nx 1.25km image modules or mosaicked to the extent of the imagery capture.
This product has been produced to identify visible land cover\nfeatures and terrain to support Spatial Services along with local and state\ngovernment programs, including Emergency Services. This product is used on a\nwhole of government basis as a visible record of the landscape at a given point\nin time, allowing for comparative analysis to be carried out over different\nepochs.

NSW\nImagery This should be used in conjunction with the below NSW Imagery Date Service. This will allow users to see the date of capture
Stereo Viewable ADS imagery (2006 to present) - Airborne Digital Sensor Stereo Strips.
This product must be requested\ndirect from Spatial Services and requires specialist software to utilise.
Emergency imagery - This is rapid response imagery\nover natural disasters such as Floods , Fire, Hail Damage etc. As it is\nimpacted by the flying conditions at the time of capture and they go through an\nexpress processing method it is not the same product as the Standard and Town\ncapture programs.
As there is a range of different intellectual property that\napplies to each capture this imagery is on request basis.
Second party aerial and\nsatellite imagery - This covers a range of miscellaneous capture projects from\n\u201cSydney Conurbation\u201d to full state satellite imagery captures.

Historical Aerial Photography (1930 to\n2005)
Historical Aerial Photo Images (HAP) - Spatial\nServices has a huge repository of digitised Historical Aerial Photography. The collection has been acquired over a\nnumber of years from 1930 through to 2005. The imagery was originally captured using a variety of cameras including the Wild RC-5, RC-10 and\nLeica RC-30 cameras with a variety of lenses with focal lengths of 88mm, 153mm\nand 304mm. Images were captured in\nmonochrome or colour during this period at a range of scales ranging from 1:10\n000 to 1:80 000.
Images have been digitised from either the aerial film negatives or hard copy\nprints up 2000dpi resolution depending on the scanned medium.
Historical Aerial Photo Enhancement Product (HAPE) - This\nis a Orthorectified product created from the Historical Aerial Photo\nCollection. A complete 100k coverage of individual photo frames was required\nfor each project area for standard program capture. The Ortho rectification of\nindividual photo frames with 60% forward overlap, that lie within and\nintersecting the relevant 100k map sheet.
Spatial Services create the HAPE mosaics with a new process utilising Augmented\nReality Modelling Software.
This is an automated process using an Augmented\nReality Modelling Software to produce a 3D models of an area from simple\nphotographs.
\nThe Hybrid processing in this software enables the creation of reality meshes\nusing Spatial Services archive of historical Air Photos, the image overlap and\nthe photo centre points derived from the original Key Diagrams and flight\nreports.
\n\nFrom the Historical Aerial Photos and the\n\u201cessential information\u201d from the Key Diagrams we are able to create a 3d mosaic\nof the photo frames that we can flatten to a 2D ortho photo mosaic.
All images are loaded into the reality modelling engines where they go through\na triangulation process with context capture using the X and Y coordinates of\nthe photo centre and the Z coordinate created from the Flying height and other\nessential information.

\nOnce this has been done the system identifies thousands of tie points and\ncreates the 3D photo Mesh. Once the photo mesh has been created it can be\nflattened into an Ortho Photo mosaic.
Both These products HAP and HAPE can be\naccessed via the new Historical imagery service.
