The mapping was commissioned by the Northern Floodplains Regional Planning Committee in June 1997, compiled by DLWC Far West Region June 1997-December 2003 and funded by the Natural Heritage Trust, Environment Australia, DLWC and the MBDC NRMS strategy. This data set is one of a set three vegetation map products produced by the Northern Floodplains Regional Planning project.
