NSW Basemap Navigation
The NSW Basemap Navigation theme provides detailed road and\nstreet data symbolised with a custom minimal style over the NSW imagery layer.
The web map is regularly updated and will show new\ninformation captured or sourced by DCS Spatial Services. All datasets used in\nthis service are authoritative foundational spatial data. Access the NSW\nFoundation Spatial Data Framework for details and specifications.
NSW Basemaps are vector tile, web accessible maps that\nenable faster loading times for users and high-resolution display at all zoom\nlevels. Vector tile layers can adapt to the resolution of a particular display\ndevice and can be restyled for multiple uses.

| \n Accuracy\u00a0 \n | \n \n The dataset maintains a positional\n relationship to, and alignment with, a range of themes from the NSW FSDF\n including, transport, imagery, positioning, water, and land cover. This\n dataset was captured by digitising the best available cadastral mapping at a\n variety of scales and accuracies, ranging from 1:500 to 1:250 000 according\n to the National Mapping Council of Australia, Standards of Map Accuracy\n (1975). Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm\n at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m,\n 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m.\n A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is currently\n underway.\u00a0\u00a0 \n | \n
