NSW Imagery Web Service GDA2020

GDA2020\nCached Map Tile service - See GDA2020 Web Services Information Sheet and GDA2020 Raster FAQ 

This Cached Map Tile service is published with a spatial\nreference of WGS 84-aligned-to-GDA2020). For users who require a [WGS 84-aligned-to-GDA94] service\nthe original NSW\nImagery Web Service is still available.

Disclaimer: This Cached Map Tile\nservice is created directly from the GDA94 Cached Map Tile service by simply\nshifting pixels by a distance equivalent to the GDA94 > NTv2-CPD >\nGDA2020 transformation. This shift must be a whole number of pixels. As a\nresult, where raster tiles are provided at low-resolution, the display location\nmay differ from true GDA2020 location. For example, a tile at \u2018zoom level 18\u2019,\nwith 60 cm pixel resolution, may appear offset from GDA2020 by ~30cm.

The\nNSW Imagery web map service provides spatial imagery covering the extent of\nNSW. It depicts a cached imagery map of NSW which includes the following data\nsets:

The NSW Imagery web service\nprovides spatial imagery covering the extent of NSW progressively from scales\nlarger than 1:150,000 higher resolution imagery overlays lower resolution\nimagery and most recent imagery overlays older imagery within each resolution.

This product has been\nproduced to identify visible land cover features and terrain to support Spatial\nServices along with local and state government programs, including Emergency\nServices. This product is used on a whole of government basis as a visible\nrecord of the landscape at a given point in time.

This web service\nallows users to easily integrate the Imagery coverage for NSW into Open\nGeospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant spatial platforms and applications.

Imagery provides an\nanalytical source and contextual background for decision making and supports\nmultiple applications including:

The NSW Imagery web\nservice provides access to accurate, authoritative and timely aerial imagery of\nNSW. 

\n\n\n\n

This service ensures\nusers are able to consume spatial imagery without the requirement of hosting\nthe imagery files on their own servers. The Imagery cache is maintained\nby Spatial Services and is an output of Spatial Services\u2019 imagery\ncollection and maintenance program.
