NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme Road Centreline is a line feature dataset that represents the spatial\ncenterline of road corridors.

NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme Road Centrelines is made up of the following\ndata:

Road Centreline -\u00a0represents a line that forms the\ncentreline of cadastral road corridors. Land and property data underpins the\neconomic, social and environmental fabric of NSW and is used, amongst other\nthings, to:

\n\n\n\n

Spatial Services continuously\nupdates the Land Parcel\nand Property theme with information\nsourced from relevant stakeholders and custodians. The majority of updates to the datasets\nin this theme originate from\nsubdivision, registration and gazettal activity.

\n\n

The data is up to date to\nwithin 10 working days from\nwhen a plan is lodged at Spatial Services. Data is also sourced\nfrom Crown Lands, the Office\nof Environment and Heritage,\nthe Aboriginal Land Council, Local Land Services, the Electoral Commission and the Department of Trade\nand Investment.

\n\n

Data quality for both Cadastral Maintenance\nand Cadastral Upgrade activities\nare assured through specification compliance and data\ntopology rules.

\n\n

The client delivery database is automatically updated\neach evening with the changes that\noccurred that day in the maintenance environment.

Land Parcel and Property Theme of the Foundation Spatial Data Framework (FSDF)\u00a0\u00a0

The dataset maintains a positional relationship to, and alignment with, the Lot and Property digital datasets. This dataset was captured by digitising the best available cadastral mapping at a variety of scales and accuracies, ranging from 1:500 to 1:250 000 according to the National Mapping Council of Australia, Standards of Map Accuracy (1975). Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m. A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is currently underway.\u00a0\u00a0
