The Information gathered covers the canopy density of tree cover in the region and there is an associated landuse layer.  The treecover is mapped according to the various canopy density classes the Department uses with statewide mapping programs. This is derived from the Australian Soil and Land Survey Field Handbook.  ;\n;\nWhere existing mapping was available it was incorporated.
