One pattern we need to understand is the geographic distribution of child deaths in NSW, and how this may vary by cause of death and the characteristics of geographic areas.\r\n\r\nIn 2016, we engaged the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare to undertake geospatial analyses of the 8,657 deaths of children that occurred in NSW between 2001 and 2015.
