The Data Analytics Centre (DAC) helps the NSW Government use data to make better informed decisions and improve public services. Through turning data into insights, the DAC provides capability to strengthen data-driven decision making. These actionable insights further support government priorities such as housing, health, education, cost of living, and safety.
Established in 2015, the DAC was the first government data analytics agency in Australia. Created to improve data is used across the NSW public sector to support better outcomes for the community.
