This week on 6 March, we celebrate Open Data Day 2021. In our video below, the Information and Privacy Commission (IPC) CEO, Information Commissioner and NSW Open Data Advocate, Elizabeth Tydd, takes us through her role and the importance of open data. Elizabeth Tydd also provides an overview of the COVID-19 datasets we have published on Data.NSW over the course of the pandemic.
We will walk you through these datasets, which we worked in partnership with NSW Health and the Department of Customer Service to release, as well as our heatmap and an example of how open data can promote innovation.
