Discrete Aboriginal Communities is a dataset developed by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) on behalf of the Steering Committee for the Aboriginal Community Water and Sewerage Program. The dataset depicts the geographic location point of established Aboriginal communities which are participating in the Aboriginal Community Water and Sewerage Program. The Program is led jointly by Aboriginal Affairs NSW and the NSW Aboriginal Land Council.

The dataset was created within the current NSW Administrative Boundaries theme. The dataset is approved by the owner of the dataset –  the Aboriginal Community Water and Sewerage Program Steering Committee.
