Murray Catchment Blueprint - Sub Management Units

When the NSW Murray Catchment Authority was developing their initial Catchment Management Plan (or Blueprint), the catchment was divided into 10 zones/units for mangement & reporting purposes.

These 10 management units were later subdivided into these 13 sub-management units. The Billabong and South West Slopes management units were the ones affected. The Sub-Management Units are loosely based on subcatchment or LWMP boundaries.

This data was originally created to facilitate the Landscape Analysis Management Planning System (LAMPS), which was an ArcView modelling extension that was developed by the Department of Land and Water Conservation. LAMPS was designed to assist in ranking priority targets and the areas of the catchment in which they had most significance.
