This program maps the grants given to NSW South Coast Councils under the NSW Government Estuary Management Program from 1992-2010. This program seeks to give a spatial view of how grants have been used and how the money has been spent across estuaries. This includes the Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama, Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla, and Bega City Councils. This program divides the grants into 2 broad categories; on ground works and estuary management plans and supporting studies. The grants are further split into 12 broad categories/ spatial layers. ;
On ground works include:;
- Navigation Improvement ;
- Foreshore Stabilisation ;
- Interpretive Signage ;
- Public Access / Amenity Improvements ;
- Water Treatment Facility ;
- Estuarine Habitat Rehabilitation. ;
The Management Plans and supporting studies include: ;
- Sediment Studies ;
- River Process Studies ;
- Estuary Management Plans and Studies ;
- Water Quality / Pollution Studies ;
- Estuary Entrance Management ;
- Sea Level Monitoring / Management. ;

Every grant given under the Estuary Management Program was assess and placed into one or more categories. The attribute tables include: ;

- Project type (grants were broken up further within each category. i.e. River Process Studies included studys and data compilations) ;
- Grant Date ;
- Completion date (in projects which are not yet completed this category was left blank) ;
- Amount spent ;
- Description (grants were described in details included what was planned or found, where work was done, who completed the works, general outcomes of the works, ect.) ;
