IgnitionPoint is a feature class which holds ignition point data for a wildfire, where it is known.This feature class is linked to the FireHistory feature class using the GISID attribute. The points may extend outside NPWS Estate. Ignition Points are captured by all regions within Parks and Wildlife Group, as well as by Forests New South Wales (FNSW)and Rural Fire Service (RFS). The data is now stored centrally in ArcSDE. Regional Senior Technical Officers collate, update and amend regional data using versions from ArcSDE.
