Data.NSW is supported by the NSW Data Analytics Centre (DAC). Established in 2015, the DAC helps the NSW Government use data to make better informed decisions and improve public services.
The DAC provides data services to all NSW Government agencies, addressing needs in data management, analytics and reform alignment. For larger agencies, the DAC offers specialised expertise and advanced tools that complement existing capabilities.
The DAC maintains core capabilities in:
- Data strategy, policy, governance and reform
- Data platforms and tools
- Data science, artificial intelligence and insights
