A user-friendly and interactive tool that provides insights to support early childhood initiatives in NSW.
The user can explore indicators on early childhood development from the National Disability Data Asset (NDDA) directly to explore by:
- Cohorts – explore the service usage and progress on outcomes for cohorts e.g. disability status, AEDC assessment outcome, preschool enrolment etc
- Regions – explore the characteristics and trends of different geographical regions by LGAs.
- Outcomes – explore how development outcomes vary between regions, cohorts and over time within a selected domain e.g. NAPLAN achievement.
A user-friendly and interactive tool that provides insights to support holistic human services policy development in NSW with an investment approach.
The user can directly explore results from investment modelling based on the Human Services Dataset (HSDS) linked to Commonwealth Government data (MADIP).
The tool allows users to interrogate both past and predicted future government service cost for cohorts of interest. This enables users to explore:
- Which cohorts are at high risk of poor outcomes and high expected costs?
- In which regions are the cohorts of interest most likely to be found and what are the demographics of the cohorts?
- What are the typical services used and outcomes achieved historically for these cohorts?
A user-friendly and interactive tool that provides insights to support holistic human services policy development to tackle homelessness in NSW.
The user can directly explore the major linked dataset that informed the Pathways to Homelessness Report released by Department of Communities and Justice in December 2021.
The tool allows users to compare service use of those who recently experienced homelessness to other vulnerable cohorts and provides:
- Service use prevalence across a wide range of services for vulnerable subgroups by Home, Health, Safety and Economic domains.
- An upper bound estimate of savings associated with successful homelessness prevention programs.

- Regions – explore the characteristics and trends of different geographical regions (LGAs).
- Services – explore who are using services and how services interact with outcomes e.g. legal aid, public housing, mental health outpatient services etc.
- Outcomes – explore how development outcomes vary between regions, cohorts and over time within a selected domain e.g. NAPLAN achievement, HSC completion etc.
