This MER dataset comprises a complex Excel spreadsheet that generates the Land Management within Capability (LMwC) indices for each MER monitoring site, soil monitoring unit (SMU) and Catchment Management Authority (CMA) across NSW. Results are presented for each of the 8 component hazards. ; ; The evaluation system compares the land & soil capability (LSC) ratings for each site with the upper sustainable LSC ratings for each site (a measure of the potential impact of land management actions) to determine the extent to which land is being managed within its capability. The indices derived form the basis of the (i) LMwC MER Indicators final result matrix and (ii) State of Catchment Report tables.
