Soil Condition monitoring indicator dataset: High Resolution Gully Erosion 2008 Baseline

"Differential Global Positioning System (GPS) surveys and detailed characterisation of 129 representative surveyable gully systems across twelve Catchment Management Authorities to establish a detailed baseline of gully condition and gully processes as a key indicator of soil condition and land management within its capability for the 2008 soil condition monitoring baseline. Assessments include gully severity and morphological features, soil descriptions, detailed photography and assessments of linear, areal and volume statistics. Land use, vegetation, run-off, stream order, land management actions, and contributing catchment characteristics are included. Data is not generally available because of the need to maintain site representativeness over the long term.; "
