This map provides a guide to the data confidence of soils information in NSW. It has been used to indicate the confidence and attribute accuracy for many statewide soil thematic maps like Land and Soil Capability mapping and Inherent fertility of soils in NSW.

The mapping describes data confidence according to a four class system outlined below.

• Good (1) • Fair (2) • Low (3) • Very low (4)
