Greater Hume Shire Council

Greater Hume Shire is a local government area in the Riverina region of southern New South Wales, Australia. The Shire was formed in 2004 incorporating Culcairn Shire, the majority of Holbrook Shire and part of Hume Shire. The shire had an estimated population of 10,137 as at 2012.

A Draft Floodplain Risk Management Studies & Plans for Culcairn, Henty and Holbrook, undertaken by consultants - WMA Water, has been approved by Council. The draft Jindera Floodplain Risk Management Study & Plan, undertaken by consultants - GHD, has been approved by Council.

The Draft Floodplain Risk Management Studies & Plans for Culcairn, Henty and Holbrook follows the completion of the Culcairn, Henty & Holbrook Flood Studies in 2015.
