Wingecarribee Shire Council is the local government authority for the Southern Highlands of New South Wales and is located midway between Sydney and Canberra off the Hume Highway, and includes Mittagong, Bowral and Moss Vale. It is of area 2688.4 sq Km and home to over 48,000 people.
